Charades is a guessing party game for one phone. Hold it to your forehead, your friends act out the card, and you guess before time runs out. Play solo rounds or a team battle.

Common questions

How do I play?

Hold the phone on your forehead with the screen facing your friends. They act out or describe the card. Tilt down when you guess it right, tilt up to pass.

The tilt does not register, or it triggers too easily.

Open Settings and change the tilt sensitivity. Keep the phone upright against your forehead, screen facing out.

What is free?

A set of decks is free to play forever. Pro unlocks every deck and lets you create your own. It comes as a weekly, monthly or yearly plan, each with a three-day free trial.

I paid but the decks are still locked.

Open the paywall and tap “Restore”. You need to be signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of the purchase.

How do I cancel?

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Charades. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends to avoid the next charge.

I want a refund.

Refunds for app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can I change the language?

Yes. Open Settings and pick a language. The app and the cards switch together, in twenty-eight languages.

Where do my own decks go?

Decks you create stay on your phone. Their words are never sent to us.
